Stampin’ Up! started a new year on October 1, 2017 and I am starting a new chapter of my life – maternity leave! I am currently off work expecting my first baby (due October 8, 2017). My husband and I can’t wait to meet our little one, but in the meantime I’m enjoying some quite time to stamp… probably the last quiet time I will have for a while!
One of my goals for this Stampin’ Up! year is to update my blog regularly and showcase the projects I am working on, upcoming classes, new techniques, etc. One way to do this is to play along in the weekly Global Design Project Challenge. This week is my first entry – it’s a Theme Challenge and the theme is Grateful. This is a perfect challenge because not only is it Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend but with a baby on the way my husband and I have a lot to be thankful for. Our friends and family have been extremely generous and our little one has a beautifully decorated nursery, lots of books, toys and clothes for it’s first year all setup and ready for it’s arrival.
I spent some time this week making thank you cards for our friends and family this week. I wanted to make cards to match our nursery theme – Woodland Creatures – so I broke out the Foxy Friends stamp set and went to work. Foxy Friends is such a versatile and fun stamp set!
I hope you like this project! #GDP107
